Understanding account holds and reviews
July 21, 2026
Occasionally you may see a notice that your account is under review, with withdrawals temporarily paused. This is called an account hold, and it's a normal part of keeping the ledger accurate.
A hold usually happens when there's a discrepancy to check — for example, when the amount received doesn't match what was expected for a deposit. Rather than let an unclear movement affect your balance, the account is paused so the details can be confirmed.
During a hold, your dashboard shows a review banner and, where relevant, the amount in question. You can still sign in and see your balance and full history; only new withdrawal requests are paused while the review is underway.
There's typically nothing you need to do. The review is handled on our side, and you'll be notified once it's complete. If we do need information from you, we'll say so clearly.
When the review finishes, the hold is resolved and withdrawals become available again. If the balance needed a correction, that adjustment is written to your history like any other movement, so you can see exactly what changed.
The goal of a hold is simple: to make sure the money in your account is genuinely yours to withdraw, with a clear record behind every figure.
